Beachcroft secures BUPA tender

LAW firm Beachcroft has been appointed to BUPA’s new panel providing employment tribunal and advisory work.

Leeds-based partner Rachael Heenan and associate James Rhodes led the team that won the tender.

Beachcroft’s employment and pensions group has already been working with BUPA over the last three years.

Ms Heenan said: “We are absolutely delighted to be appointed to the panel as we really enjoy working as an extension to BUPA’s in-house team providing no-nonsense, business focused, straightforward advice on a range of issues which help BUPA deliver a better service to its customers.”

The employment team is bucking the trend with a number of recent high profile appointments including the Yorkshire and Humber Collaborative hub (34 NHS Trusts in Yorkshire), Arcadia and York FT.

Beachcroft has also recently launched an employment team in Newcastle servicing health clients with the group is now 20% larger than it was this time last year.

Beachcroft’s employment and pensions group comprises more than 110 employment lawyers operating out of offices in Bristol, Leeds, London, Manchester and Newcastle.

The group has a well-established reputation as a leading adviser to the health sectors and clients include the Department of Health’s Dental Access Programme, NHS Direct and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
