FRONT, the Sheffield-based advertising agency, has developed a campaign for Sheffield United football club to generate season ticket sales for next season.

The Front team developed the campaign around the theme “True Blades are at The Lane” building on the core idea that one of the best ways to support the club is being at the matches.

The campaign has been rolled out across various channels including direct mail, online media including the club’s website, press advertising and supported by PR.

Since the launch in March, 10,000 season tickets have been sold despite the Blades being relegated to League One.

PR agency Lucre has received recognition from two of the PR industry’s leading bodies.

Earlier this month, Lucre was rated as one of the top 150 PR agencies in the UK in an annual review carried out by industry publication PR Week.

Rising six places from last year’s table, Lucre is the only Yorkshire agency to be included in the list, placed 85th overall and 14th outside of London.

The Leeds-based agency has also been awarded the PRCA’s hallmark of PR excellence – a ‘Consultancy Management Standard’ following an in depth audit by the associative body.
