Yorkshire Crisps secures Tesco deal

YORKSHIRE Crisps has secured a listing for four of its flavours in 45 Tesco Yorkshire stores in the run up to the festive season.

Flavours of Lightly Sea Salted, Cheddar & Caramelised Onion Chutney, Chardonnay Wine Vinegar and Henderson’s Yorkshire Sauce in 50g bags will be available in-store from November.

Yorkshire Crisps sales director Tim Wheatley said: “We’re very happy to add Tesco to our list of outlets and reach a new audience of shoppers. The crisps will be on clip strips around the store, so we are not just confined to the crisps aisle, they can be found throughout!”

Tesco regional buyer Sam Nundy said: “I was so impressed with the quality of Yorkshire Crisps, that we are stocking them in every Tesco Metro, Superstore and Extra in the region.

“The crisps are exactly the sort of regional product we are delighted to offer our customers and they are likely to go down very well, especially for Christmas entertaining.”

Yorkshire Crisps are also available in independent retailers, as well as Yorkshire branches of Sainsbury’s, Morrison’s, Booths and The Co-op.

The Sheffield-based company plans to unveil a new flavour in the near future.
