Further lettings success at Normandy Court

HYCO Manufacturing has taken a 26,000 sq ft unit at Normandy Court at Wakefield Europort.
The new unit was built by AJ Roberts Construction on a design and build contract and let to the electrical equipment manufacturer on a 10 year lease.
Normandy Court is the final part of Earnstone Developments’ Normandy Park scheme at the Europort, which totals 120,000 sq ft in eight separate units, all of which have been sold or let since December 2008.
In addition to the Hyco unit, a 6,500 sq ft unit has been sold to Huddersfield Express Couriers for around £450,000, leaving only one speculative unit of 3,000 sq ft available.
Nick Arundel, senior partner at Leeds-based surveyors and property consultants AWS, which handled the deals, said: “This is the twentieth unit we have acted on for Earnstone Developments.
“There is no doubt that the supply of good quality modern industrial units is rapidly drying up, particularly in prime locations such as this and we are seeing more and more occupiers realise that this is a premier location in the Leeds/West Yorkshire conurbation as far as manufacturing and distribution is concerned.”
