News in Brief: Advice sessions for entrepreneurs launched

PEOPLE in need of a business boost are being offered free advice on how to kick start their entrepreneurial ideas the Rotherham Enterprise project.

The drop-in sessions being run by the local programme will offer budding entrepreneurs or those just at the idea stage who need support a chance to discuss and assess business ideas with the help of experienced professionals.

Geoff Link of Rotherham Enterprise said: “With a new year comes a new opportunity to look forward and improve existing business plans with fresh eyes. Now, through the help of our expert community business coaches, anyone can come along to the organised sessions and receive top quality advice on how to shape and develop their enterprise.”

People considering self employment can also benefit from the coaches who will provide professional tips on how feasible their idea may be and how to go about researching the market.

The sessions will run until March in Rotherham area.

North Area:
First Monday of every month: Tenants Hall, Kimberworth Park10am -12pm
Wednesdays: Montgomery Hall, Wath 10am -12pm
Fridays: Swinton Library 10am -12pm

Central Area
Thursdays: Mowbray Gardens Library 10am -12pm
Central Library 3pm – 5pm

South Area
Wednesday: Maltby Library 10am -12pm
Friday: Dinnington Library 10am -12pm
