Leeds rooftop bar launches 2017 DJ nights

Leeds rooftop bar and restaurant Angelica has launched DJ nights.

The bar is turning itself into a music venue with two dates confirmed for March and April .

‘An Evening With’ returns with Norman Jay MBE, renowned for his ‘Rare Groove’ scene, headlining the first night for 2017.

Mancunian DJ and Producer, Loz Goddard will be hitting the decks, and for the second night, ‘An Evening With’ Resident DJ, Sara Garvey, a firm favourite with guests at Angelica.

Mark Morris, general manager of Angelica, said: “We can’t wait for the return of ‘An Evening With’, and what better way to kick things off than with a true DJ legend. Morris said: “In recent years, Leeds has been transformed a bustling and fast paced city, which the DJs love to visit. Angelica is becoming renowned for its DJ evenings, both within the music industry and with dance lovers across Yorkshire. This is not only is this fantastic for our venue, but it’s great for Leeds as a whole.

“As it is our mission to put this evolving and energetic city on the global map for holding the very best curated DJ nights, with the biggest names in the world right now flocking to our northern city. And our latest ‘An Evening With’ and ‘Neverland’, is doing exactly that.”
