You are in for a treat this weekend if your favourite drink is Rum. Taking place at Sheffield’s Trafalgar Warehouse, The Rum Festival will be host to over 100 different rums from around the globe for you to try. There will also be opportunities for you to learn all about rum and time to experience each category of rum, from white and golden to dark and spiced. Lord Of The Dance – Dangerous Games
Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games will take to the stage this weekend at the Leeds Grand Theatre & Opera House. Celebrating 20 years since he debuted Lord of the Dance, the show, which has been produced, choreographed and directed by Michael Flatley, will star his protégés James Keegan, Morgan Comer and Mathew Smith in the role of the Lord of the Dance. Fresh 2017
Young people from across Yorkshire are set to take to the stage at West Yorkshire Playhouse on Saturday night for Fresh 2017. The competition, which is set to be an incredible showcase of dance by young people aged 11-19, will see a wide range of dance styles compete. A panel of judges will then select two groups that will go on to represent Yorkshire at U.Dance 2017 in Birmingham in July. Find out more here.

Head along to Nunnington Hall on Saturday for the Ryedale Book Festival. The event is inviting book lovers of all ages to take part in a range of activities, from book binding workshops to performances and live entertainment.
