Digital marketing group IDHL Group has called 2016 a “transformational year” for the business as it recorded revenue of £10.5m and relocated to 10,000 sq ft premises in Harrogate.

The turnover figure, for the 12 months to December 31 2016, represents a 24% year-on-year increase for the group, whose agencies include WMG, Ingenuity Digital (ID) and NetConstruct.

IDHL said the growth was driven by key new account wins over the course of the year, including AON, Arthur J. Gallagher and HMV.

Further growth is predicted in 2017, and IDHL says it is on the lookout for strategic acquisitions.
This success has seen the group make several new senior appointments, including Stuart McGregor as group commercial director, and Mark Halstead as group IT manager, who joins from Tilney BestInvest.

IDHL Group CEO, Dennis Engel said: “In a challenging landscape for a lot of digital agencies, 2016 was a fantastic year for our group – we moved into a stunning new headquarters, and made key additions to both our in-house talent and client base.

“Our record financial performance is testament to the group’s hard work in helping our clients achieve excellent results – results that have also received industry recognition.

“We remain committed to growing further as we continue to attract and retain the best talent across WMG, ID and NetConstruct.”
