Bradford estate agents Locate Properties have moved into a purpose-built office after securing a six-figure funding package.

The property agent, which was founded in the city in 2004, was originally located on the outskirts of the city, but with financial support from HSBC, the firm redeveloped a previously derelict building in North Parade into a modern and attractive office space.

The larger premises has allowed the business to create three new jobs and is expected to increase turnover by 25% over the next 2 years.

Andrew Bennett, HSBC’s area director of West and South Yorkshire, said: “We are pleased to be backing Locate Properties. It is a dynamic business which has now made its mark in this popular area of Bradford. We look forward to seeing the business grow and our continued support demonstrates our appetite to back local businesses in West Yorkshire and beyond.”

Naveed Mir, owner of Locate Properties, said: “We are specialists in finding people a home that feels right for them, so it was crucial for us to be able to find the perfect home for our team. It was HSBC’s financial support and guidance that has allowed the business to redevelop a former derelict building, which not only improves the appearance of the local area but also creates employment.”

Locate Properties is owned by brothers, Naveed and Haseeb Mir.
