Huge Sheffield warehouse brought to market

A Sheffield warehouse spanning more than 615,000 sq ft – believed to be the largest on offer in the UK – has been brought to market.

Commercial Property Partners (CPP) has been appointed by Logicor to oversee the marketing and leasing of Sheffield 615, which is currently undergoing a major refurbishment programme expected to complete in July.

CPP Partner Toby Vernon says: “The UK market is suffering from an acute shortage of existing buildings of this calibre, and especially large footprint warehouses spanning in excess of 500,000 sq ft which are particularly rare.

“Most requirements of this size can only be satisfied via a built-to-suit solution which can be subject to lengthy lead in times, whereas Sheffield 615 can be made available quickly without any development uncertainty.”

Property advisors CBRE and DTRE will partner with CPP to manage the marketing of the property.

Vernon added: “As the largest available unit in the UK, Sheffield 615 is very significant to the UK logistics market and we expect strong tenant interest. The building also offers a great opportunity to Sheffield City Region’s economic potential.
