Bradford raises a glass to bank holiday beer festival

The Bradford Independent Beer Festival, which will feature more than 50 real ales and ciders from across the UK, is making its return this May Day Bank Holiday for the second year running.

Expanding on the success of last year’s launch event, the 2017 festival will stretch over three city centre West End bars – Brew Haus, Sir Titus Salt, and Stein Bierkeller, all located alongside the Alhambra Theatre on Great Horton Road.

The free entry beer and music festival runs from Thursday April 27, to Bank Holiday Monday, May 1 with entry via Brew Haus from noon each day and Sir Titus opening its doors for 9am breakfast customers as usual.

Festival organiser Lewis Haynes said: “The festival was launched last year and went down well with real ale enthusiasts and with all our regulars. We promised we would make it an annual event – and now having Sir Titus Salt on board as well, means that we can expand the festival and make it even bigger and better for 2017.

“Having three venues taking part means we can ensure there’s truly something for everyone. We’ll also have the large well-stocked main bars open, offering the usual full range of world beers, wines, spirits and cocktails for those beer festival fans attending with friends and family who have different drink preferences.”
