Gym chain flexes muscles with Paris launch

Sheffield based boutique gym TRIB3 has announced plans to launch in Paris before the end of the year – just weeks after confirming that it is expanding into Russia.

The announcement comes as TRIB3 welcomes Michel Parada as managing director for France. Parada comes to TRIB3 with an extensive background in health and fitness as the former CEO and managing director of Fitness First France.

TRIB3’s European managing director Rod Hill said: “Michel’s appointment comes at an exciting time for the company as we continue our ambitious programme of expansion across Europe.

“Having only recently announced the launch of our first Moscow site this summer, it is with great pride that we confirm our arrival in the French capital and we are now looking forward to new deals looking to be finalised in Switzerland and Germany shortly.”

Welcoming Michel to TRIB3, group CEO Kevin Yates, said: “We are so pleased to be building such formidable team and know that Michel, with his wealth of experience in the French fitness industry, will be a real asset as we move into this important new territory.

“We now look forward with even greater confidence to extending into more countries and expanding our ever growing portfolio in the coming months.”

Co-founded by Kevin Yates, Dan Summerson and David Cross and partners, TRIB3 launched its first site in Sheffield’s Ecclesall Road at the start of 2016.
