Sheffield Food Festival
Returning for its seventh year, the Sheffield Food Festival takes place this weekend from Saturday until Monday. The event, which takes place across the Peace and Winter Gardens, Millennium Square, Town Hall Square and Fargate, with see a whole range of street food take centre stage to enjoy alongside live entertainment, cooking demonstrations, an artisan market and plenty for the kids to do too. Spend your weekend learning everything you need to know about chocolate. The York Chocolate Tour, taking place across the weekend, is the perfect opportunity to educate yourself on the history of chocolate, as well as tasting a whole range of treats too. Comics Unmasked
Head along to Abbey House Museum this weekend to get involved in Comics Unmasked. The event will explore comic strips past and present, from Dennis The Menace to Marvel and Manga. Created by the museum’s young curators, The Vintage Youth Club, the event will also feature original artwork by local artists as well as film looking at comic book culture in Leeds. Malton Food Lovers Festival 2017
Yorkshire’s Food Capital are hosting their annual festival this weekend with an impressive line-up. Celebrity chef and  British-Jamaican reggae musician Levi Roots will be joined by big culinary names, including food writer Prue Leith and Great British Menu contestant Stephanie Moon.
