Bowman Riley has expanded its team with the senior appointment of Caroline Fattorini as head of building consultancy.

Fattorini is a qualified building surveyor and member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with a remit to drive the division forward, develop new business and lead a growing team of surveyors.

The long-standing architects practice established a building consultancy team almost 15 years ago to offer building surveying services, project management and expertise in construction health and safety, building sustainability and building access compliance.

The company employs five surveyors with plans to recruit further team members to grow the team to meet the increasing workload.

Previously at Lambert Smith Hampton, Fattorini brings a wealth of experience of working with clients such as BT, Northern Rail, NHS, Nationwide, Harrogate International Centre, Royal London, Countrywide, Carphone Warehouse, Nuffield Health and Thornton’s.

Darren Bush, director at Bowman Riley, said: “We are delighted that Caroline has joined our team to strengthen our building consultancy brand. We are confident that her approach and background will open new avenues for Bowman Riley to enable us to grow and diversify our business.”
