More than 80 property professionals have already signed up to attend the inaugural Property Lunch with Craig Burrow of developer Bruntwood and TheBusinessDesk.com.

This is the first property lunch launched by TheBusinessDesk.com, attracting property professionals across the region in association with law firm Freeths and planning consultancy Pegasus Group.

Held on Tuesday 27 June at Bibis Restaurant on Sovereign Street, Craig Burrow, the Leeds director of developer Bruntwood, will talk about the plans for its Platform development and the challenges faced redeveloping above one of the busiest train stations in the UK as well as the wider future of the property sector in the city.

Bruntwood’s re-imagining of the building is part of Leeds city centre’s ongoing transformation, making it almost unrecognisable from just five years ago.

This is set to continue with developments like Platform which bring together the latest technology, collaborative workspaces and transport links.

TheBusinessDesk.com editor Alex Turner said: “Platform is a great example of the ambition and vision that the city of Leeds has, and Craig has been a key figure in Bruntwood’s journey to make this transformation happen.

“It promises to be a really interesting event and early bookings confirm there will be great networking opportunities.”

Tickets cost £40 and include a two course dinner and a welcome drink at Bibi’s Italian in Leeds. It follows a Women in Business lunch last month which attracted more than 150 people.
