Recruitment company’s growth leads to relocation

Simeon Sobers and Jacqueline Ramdeen from Bradford Council, Tanya Lowe, Julie Bates, Robin Hancox, Joanna Horska, Eliza Regan from Stafforce, and Billy Bantam from Bradford City FC celebrate the office launch

Recruitment specialist Stafforce has moved its Bradford office to a new address following a period of growth.

The company, which is headquartered in Rotherham, has taken an office on North Parade in Bradford in what is said was in response to “increased growth and investment prospects” around the region.

Julie Bates, who heads the Bradford office, said that the company has increased its staff in the city from three employees to six and is looking to bring more people onboard.

“It has been a fantastic start to the year,” she said. “During 2017 we exceeded our targets and worked with 36 clients across the city. We have secured a number of permanent and temporary candidates for companies across the board and are building on our successes.

“There are significant opportunities as Bradford takes its place as a Northern Powerhouse city and we are proud to support local talent and businesses as they seek to grow.

“The new office will benefit both candidates and clients and we are now in a more central location with frequent public transport links.”

Lisa Gainsford, CEO of Stafforce’s parent company Nicholas Associates Group, said the expansion was part of the group’s overall strategy to invest in talent management growth.

She said: “Stafforce started in South Yorkshire, so it is always important to us to see businesses succeeding in the Northern region and the Nicholas Associates Group has the strategy, vision and ability to help them do that.

“We have broken away from the traditional recruitment mould to provide apprentice through to boardroom talent management solutions.

“We offer candidates an experienced partner for their entire career journey, while for clients we  provide holistic solution for candidate attraction, development and retention across every area of their business.”
