100 jobs at risk as Yorkshire Water plans division sale

Yorkshire Water is planning to sell off its business division in a move that is risking 100 jobs.
The water company said it was selling the division to focus on retail customers, according to the BBC.
The division is based between Bradford and Barnsley and deals with around 138,000 business customers.
A spokesman said: “Yorkshire Water Business Services and Three Sixty can confirm they have notified staff of the Kelda Group’s intention to exit the non-household retail market and sell its non-household retail businesses.
“These are early days but we felt it was right to keep our colleagues informed throughout. “In the meantime, it is very much business as usual for our colleagues and non-household retail customers and we will continue to provide them with the very best service.”
