Caddick invests £5m in land division launch

Family-run construction and property development business Caddick Group is investing £5m in the launch of a strategic land division.
It will offer site assembly, negotiation and promotion as well as planning services, focusing on regional developments.
Caddick Group has delivered several high-profile projects in recent months, including TJX Europe’s Crosspoint 33 distribution centre on a greenfield site near Wakefield, which was forward sold to specialist logistics investor Tritax, and its first residential tower in London – the Vauxhall Sky Gardens (pictured).
Led by Chris Procter, Caddick Land will sit as a separate division within the Caddick Group, allowing it to draw from the Group’s wider in-house multi-disciplinary expertise spanning civil engineering, construction and development.
Procter previously worked at Resolved Renewables, which worked in partnership with the Caddick Group to deliver several multi-million-pound renewable energy schemes.
Procter will be joined by David Baker as land manager, who will be based in Birmingham.
