Rebrand underway at Leeds United’s Elland Road stadium

Leeds United is set to reveal the transformation of its new-look Elland Road just weeks after chairman Andrea Radrizzani acquired the stadium for the club.
In June, it was announced that the site had returned to LUFC ownership, and work has been ongoing throughout the summer ahead of the 2017/18 season.
The new branding around Elland Road will be revealed at its home game with Preston North End on Saturday 12 August.
The club has worked closely with the council throughout in delivery of the project, and some of the developments are still subject to planning permission.
The rebranding exercise has seen improvements being made to the stadium, with the interior of the West Stand, and the dressing rooms and hospitality suites in the East Stand all undergoing changes, with new creative for the front of the latter, as well as the South Stand and the North-East corner of the ground. The club has been working closely with Leeds agency The Works on its rebrand.
Managing director Angus Kinnear said: “Whilst we’re building for sustainable success with our key focus remaining on sensible financial management, we knew we wanted to give back to the fans as well. We felt it was important that our home should honour our heritage, celebrate our first team squad and make loyal and passionate fans proud on matchdays.”
