Jewellery entrepreneur sparkles with latest expansion plans

Leeds jewellery entrepreneur Neil Geddes is opening in Boston Spa with his latest boutique.

The private jeweller specialises in sourcing and creating jewellery for some of the country’s wealthiest individuals.

Geddes, founder of NJ Geddes Fine Jewellery, is set to expand his service with the opening of a jewellery boutique in Boston Spa.

It will open a 650 sq ft boutique in the North Yorkshire village in early September.

Geddes said the company had experienced a record year for the company, after 30% growth in 12 months.

He said: “The ongoing success of the business has generated a demand for a physical store that will allow me to showcase our unique, bespoke jewellery design offering to a wider audience.

“Opening in Boston Spa will place the business at the very heart of the ‘Golden Triangle’ between Leeds, York and Harrogate, allowing us to benefit from the commercial opportunities that come with such a prestigious location.”

The boutique is being designed by award winning York-based interior designer, Carolyn Parker, and is set to feature an extravagant gallery of jewellery, bespoke furnishings and a show-stopping window display.

Neil added: “I started the business in Leeds back in 2010 to deliver a jewellery buying experience with service levels akin to that of a couture fashion house or Saville Row tailors’.

“London is fantastic and I spend a lot of time there with clients, however the ‘Northern Powerhouse’ cities have character, charm and beautiful villages on their doorsteps. Boston Spa provides the perfect location for this phase of expansion and the boutique will really enable us to show off the skills and craftsmanship we offer.”
