“Next will be taking a 42,000 sq ft store over three floors in the old BHS, located at the heart of the scheme opposite Primark (80,000 sq ft).

“Gap’s (9,000 sq ft) outlet is due to open in Phase 2 in April. It is now one of the most visited cinemas in Yorkshire. The restaurants in this block so far include Pizza Express, Nandos, GBK and Zizzi’s trading since Spring/Summer 2017, and there will be more news re additional cafes and restaurants to complete this block. JD Sports (13,000 sq ft) opened in December last year and was welcomed with much local attention and is trading well.”

Lane7 is taking 15,000sq ft in Phase 3 of the scheme, boosting the variety of leisure options for shoppers.

New Look has taken 16,000 sq ft and sit alongside anchor fashion tenant H&M (36,000 sq ft). Demolition and refurbishment on this block starts this summer aiming for trading in 2019.

Huby said: “The level of Interest in the scheme and the environment we can offer on The Moor is both reassuring and exciting. It demonstrates confidence that we are providing what the occupational market and consumer want.”

The first phase of The Moor opened in 2013 with the new Moor Market run by Sheffield City Council in a building with nine units owned by Aberdeen Standard Investments that are now occupied by tenants such as TJ Hughes, The Entertainer and Sweat Union Gym.
