Housebuilder moves into larger premises

Rapid regional growth and new contract wins have led to the Keepmoat Homes Leeds office moving into new, larger premises and expand its team.

Since the Leeds office opened in April 2016, the housebuilder’s regional base has gone from strength to strength, having sold over 579 new houses in Yorkshire and employing 114 members of staff.

The move to a new larger office space on Vico Court, Lower Wortley, has allowed for a further three new apprentices to join the team, as well as space for further recruitment.

The move was supported by some major new projects wins for the office, with work recently starting on 971 houses in Seacroft, Halton Moor and Osmondthorpe and a £150m New Bolton Woods Village development in Bradford.  Contracts have also been exchanged for 250 new homes on Milton Road, Wakefield and 110 homes at Ashbrow Road in Huddersfield.

Ian Hoad, regional managing director of the Yorkshire West Region for Keepmoat, said: “The continued regional growth we’ve seen has been extremely encouraging and is allowing us to build on our reputation for delivering desirable, sustainable and high-quality developments.

“We’re delighted to be able to work with key partners to meet the demand for housing in the region and with plenty of developments in the pipeline the growth is showing no sign of slowing anytime soon. I’d like to thank our Leeds team for all their hard work, as they continue to strengthen our relationships with home owners, sub-contractors, suppliers, consultants and service providers.”
