Shopping centre and business park snapped up in string of deals

Titan District shopping centre at Wyke near Bradford

A shopping centre, a business park and an industrial estate have been snapped up in a trio of deals worth more than £3m.

Carter Towler has completed the sale of the Titan District shopping centre at Wyke near Bradford. The centre, which has been purchased by North Yorkshire-based Masham Investments off a guide price of £1m, has four fully let retail units generating a rental income of £86,750 a year. The deal includes an overflow car park with development potential.

In a second deal, the 16,108 sq ft Byram Business Park at Brotherton near Wakefield has been sold to an investor with a substantial portfolio of similar industrial properties across the North and Midlands.

Byram Business Park has four fully let trade units that generate an annual rental income of £90,000 a year and was sold off a guide price of £1.15m.

Finally Carter Towler negotiated a sale price of over £750,000 on behalf of BW SIPP Trustees for a 10 unit, 14,329 sq ft industrial estate at Barnes Road, Bradford.

West Bradford Industrial Park, has been purchased by Preston-based Errigal Contracts Group. The gross annual rental income is £79,435 a year and the estate has potential for further development.

Carter Towler director David Towler said: “We are delighted with all three of these sales for different reasons. The Titan District deal was concluded very quickly and the two industrial estate sales achieved excellent returns for our clients. There was a healthy level of competitive bidding as both of these industrial investments offer the potential for further growth.”
