PR agency scoops trio of property clients

Parklane Group’s vision for INC in Leeds at the western edge of Leeds City Centre

The Leeds office of PR and public affairs agency Social Communications has secured a trio of new Yorkshire property clients, spanning commercial, residential, leisure and hotel projects.

Parklane Group, Wykeland Group and SKA Developments are the latest businesses to join the agency’s client roster.

Parklane Group has appointed Social Communications to support with the communications and stakeholder engagement activity around a number of their developments. They include the launch of INC in Leeds earlier in the year and proposals for the old library site on Burley Road in the city.

For Hull-based regeneration specialists Wykeland Group, Social Communications is providing stakeholder engagement and planning consultation services for the £16m ‘Treadmills’ proposal to develop the former prison site in Northallerton. The plans include a new Lidl store, cinema and co-working tech hub.

Social Communications has also been appointed by Huddersfield based SKA Developments, which has turned to the agency for a range of communications services. As well as creating a new brand, identity and website, the Social Communications team will support with ongoing planning consultation, public relations and wider marketing services to assist SKA with their growth in the Yorkshire property market.

With a 40-year heritage in the textiles industry, the family-run business’ property portfolio is growing and includes the iconic Co-op building in Huddersfield town centre which was recently granted planning consent for conversion to student accommodation.
