Development firm’s CEO set to speak at upcoming Sheffield property professionals lunch

The chief executive of a property development and investment company is to speak at TheBusinessDesk.com’s next property lunch in Sheffield.

David Topham is the CEO of CTP and has overseen commercial schemes of major scale designed and delivered right across the north. He will speak at our Sheffield Property Professional Lunch on Friday September 21.

Sheffield is a particular hotspot for CTP and so delegates will hear about his views on the commercial marketplace at present, including office-take up, yields and upcoming developments which will help the city’s economy thrive and attract inward investors.

Topham will discuss in particular the Yorkshire marketplace in recent times and the impact this has had on commercial developments. Principal projects that he and his team have been involved with have included St Paul’s Place in Sheffield. This most recently included 3 St Paul’s Place, which comprises of 80,000 sq ft of prime Grade A office space and completed the award-winning £180m Heart of the City project as part of the city’s transformation.

The flagship 3 St Paul’s Place building,  home to Swedish bank Handelsbanken and law firm Freeths, was earlier this year sold for £24m. At the time, developers CTP and U+I , who built the building speculatively, hailed the sale “as a massive vote of confidence in the city of Sheffield.”

Topham added: “This city centre transformation is critical to Sheffield’s future, acting as a catalyst for further regeneration and underlining the city’s exciting future as a leading UK city. Sheffield now has a balanced and productive economy, straddling many sectors including advanced manufacturing, health and well-being and education, alongside a wide range of creative and professional services.”

CTP also have numerous other notable projects under within their portfolio, including Granary Wharf and Round Foundry in Leeds and Pall Mall Exchange in Liverpool.

Tickets for this informative event, to be hosted at Piccolinos in Sheffield, are priced at £40+VAT and include a two-course lunch.
