Fire-damaged day nursery hits the market following complete revamp

A newly renovated day nursery, situated in the market town of Elland, just outside of Halifax, has been launched to market with a £350,000 price tag.

Elland Day Nursery, which is on the market with business property adviser Christie & Co, underwent a complete refurbishment programme following a fire in January 2018 which was caused by a power surge overnight.

Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, the building operates from two adjoining, previous school buildings with capacity for up to 58 children, catering for ages 0-5 years.

With an array of amenities, including age specific play rooms, sensory room, dining room, and an enclosed outdoor play area, Elland is equipped for a new owner to begin operating immediately.

The entire building has been re plastered and benefits from having new windows, full commercial kitchen, brand new boiler and central heating, fully re-wired and all new flooring and furnishings.

Elland Day Nursery has been owned and operated by current owner, Janeen Turner-Barrow for the last 14 years.
