Million-pound refurbishment completes at business park

A million-pound refurbishment programme to an established Sheffield business park, popular with high profile trade counter brands, has completed.

Warrington-based Langtree, which manages Meadowbrook Park Trading Estate on behalf of an institutional client, has finished its improvement plan. The 14-unit site at Holbrook has a high profile occupier line-up, including Screwfix, Howdens Joinery, Wolseley, Spinks and Travis Perkins.

Units 10, 11 and 12, each around 5,000 sq ft or totalling a combined 15,000 sq ft, are currently available to let and have undergone extensive refurbishment which includes new elevations, new aluminium windows and full refurbishment of the internal warehouse and offices.

The whole estate, which is arranged as five terraces, has also benefited from an external upgrade to include improved landscaping and signage.

Kathryn Smart, group associate property director at Langtree, said: “Our strategy of revitalising industrial estates is now complete at Meadowbrook Park Trading Estate.

“A number of trade counter and industrial occupiers already benefit from being located at the trading estate and we expect our major refurbishment programme to attract further interest.”

Rebecca Schofield, partner at Knight Frank, which is marketing the development, added: “The estate is ideally located south east of Sheffield within the Holbrook area of the city and enjoys easy motorway access.

“The refurbishment programme has significantly improved the units. We are seeing an increasing number of industrial estates modernised to cope with the heightening demand across South Yorkshire and anticipate the high quality of the refurbishment will prove popular with businesses looking to relocate to this popular site.”
