Furniture retailer doubles space at retail park

Natuzzi, one of largest furniture retailers globally, has acquired a second unit at Junction 27 Retail Park in Birstall in Leeds.

Represented by international real estate advisor Savills, the acquisition comes after a successful first six months at the scheme, which is owned by Standard Life Investments.

Natuzzi has agreed a new 10 year lease for a second unit of 5,010 sq ft (465 sq m), next to its existing 4,973 sq ft (462 sq m) store, allowing the Italian furniture retailer to double its space at the park. The new unit will trade as Natuzzi Editions, alongside the existing Natuzzi Italia store.

Founded in Italy almost 60 years ago, Natuzzi is now one of largest furniture retailers globally, with products distributed in the UK, Europe, US, Asia, UAE and Australia.
