Laser cutting equipment firm MBA launches transport business

Laser cutting and metal fabrication equipment business MBA Engineering has launched a transport business.

Wetherby-based MBA said the move will allow them to install and transport machines following increased demand from manufacturers. The new business, MBA Transport, will decommission, transport and install factory equipment in the UK and internationally.

The new business will be led by Shane Hudson. The company has already invested in a flatbed truck and trailer capable of carrying up to 44,000 kg, a Fassi 660 crane, which can lift, remove and install machinery and equipment including CNC, Millers lathes, press brakes, and waterjets.

Bradley McBain, managing director of MBA Engineering, said: “Our mission at MBA Engineering is to always enhance the range of services and support we can offer to our customers, in order to make the running of their businesses easier. This commitment to our clients, along with our considerable recent growth, have led to us establishing MBA Transport.

“The team’s experience in moving machinery of all shapes and sizes is second to none – whether you need equipment moving a few yards or require a full factory relocation, Shane and the team will provide a one-stop-shop machinery moving solution, alongside unrivalled levels of service.”
