Plant hire business doubles operations with new HQ

Rodgers Plant Hire has completed a £1.1m project to create a new headquarters, doubling the size of its operations and creating jobs.

The business employs 15 full-time staff and will initially create an additional two jobs as part of its expansion.

Rodgers said: “After outgrowing our old premises, we began looking at locations and designs for a new fit-for-purpose location here in Huddersfield. The funding from NatWest has supported our investment and helped us drive forward our expansion plans, allowing us to meet customer demand and create new jobs in the process.”

Steve Mayor, relationship director, NatWest said: “Rodgers Plant Hire is a great example of a local family run business. Since the 1940s, the business has seen tremendous growth from its humble beginnings and is now achieving impressive growth. The funding we delivered has provided a strong foundation for expansion and we look forward to supporting
