Weekender: New bar to open in Harrogate after £400,000 fit-out

Harrogate is about to get its very own bite of the Big Apple as Manahatta prepares to bring its unique brand of contemporary cool to the historic town, after investing £400,000 in a town centre venue.

The new bar on Parliament Street in the site currently occupied by The Pit. The six-figure investment will ensure the space is given a dramatic makeover worthy of the distinctive Manahatta brand before the new venue opens next month.

The latest Arc Inspirations bar will also create around 40 full and part time jobs.

The bar will have Pornstar Martinis and Espresso Martinis on draught, which it described as “revolutionary system” to cut down bar queues and ensure that each cocktail is pulled to perfection.

A cocktail menu designed by award-winning bar development manager Mark Austin will also be available. Along with his team from the American bar at London’s Savoy Hotel, he has created exclusive drinks such as the Manahatta Spritz and the Cuban Postcard.

Diners will also be able to enjoy Manahatta’s food menu, which is packed with classic American treats.
