Refurbishment creates another 20,000 sq ft worth of office space
An out-of-town office building on the edge of York has welcomed another tenant following a £750,000 refurbishment which has created 20,000 sq ft of space.
Eurofins York has taken approximately 3,000 sq ft of Grade A accommodation at Arabesque House, Monks Cross. The building is owned by commercial property syndication, development finance and property development company Helmsley Group.
The letting to the global electronic compliance testing company, which has relocated from York Science Park, means half of the six suites at Arabesque House are now occupied.
Eurofins join existing tenants TCS John Huxley, Drivespeed Limited, the DVSA and Anytime Fitness.
Susie Cawood, head of York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, said Helmsley Group was helping to meet a much-needed requirement for provision of quality office space in York and the wider region.
