Local employer extends link with historic Yorkshire attraction
The Piece Hall Trust, in Halifax, and Covéa Insurance have gone into a third year of partnership.
Covéa Insurance has a long history of being in Halifax, having been based in the town since 1966 when it was formerly Provident Insurance.
1,000 employees – approximately half the company’s national workforce – work from offices in the converted mill buildings of Dean Clough.
One of the first businesses to sign up to the Trust corporate membership scheme, the company has been a firm supporter of the vision for the Grade I listed Piece Hall since it re-opened to the public in 2017.
The trust wants to encourage other businesses to become corporate members by signing up to a partnership that creates value for companies and their staff, whilst helping to ensure the Piece Hall continues to play its important role in regenerating the Halifax and Calderdale economy.
Corporate members receive exclusive invitations to events and the trust offers a space for networking, development and engagement opportunities.
In return for this support, the trust is able to continue to operate the popular building.
