New marketing agency ready to help brands make an impact

A new promotional marketing agency has opened for business with the launch of Cat Among The Pigeons.

The agency opened its office in Leeds city centre and has been set up by former Brass managing partner, Paul McGann, in collaboration with colleagues Joanne Schofield and Lawrence McNally.

It aims to help Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) firms and challenger brands add value and get more creative impact with shoppers.

Cat Among The Pigeons’ senior team has a successful campaign track record together, which includes winning more than 15 national marketing effectiveness awards across the last five years. These span Masters of Marketing, FAB Awards and IPM Awards, including Gold for Shopper Marketing excellence three years in a row.

The team has worked with leading brands like Coca-Cola, Warburtons, Birds Eye and Kellogg’s, as well as helping launch challenger brands like Yushoi, Green Cuisine and Freaks of Nature.

McGann said: “The time is right for a more agile promotional agency model that helps brands disrupt and engage shoppers across the path to purchase.

“Many supermarkets sell in excess of 50,000 products in-store and online and it is becoming increasingly difficult for brands to get noticed and bought. Our planning and campaign approach cuts through the clutter to create stand out, not standard promotional marketing that really drives rate of sale and ROI.”
