Listed electronics manufacturer secures new contracts
Filtronic, the designer and manufacturer of microwave electronics products, has secured two new contracts worth approximately £1.3m.
The Shipley-based firm will design and develop advanced mmWave products for two leading American businesses. The first is a leading RF equipment company which will use the new technology within its next generation over-the-air equipment.
The second contract comes from leading High Altitude Pseudo-Satellite (“HAPS”) solution provider in the USA. Filtronic will design, develop and deliver of next generation, high-performance transceiver modules for the firms future solutions.
Deliverables for both projects include the supply of prototypes for testing and pre-commercialisation evaluation units with the follow-on potential for eventual commercial supply contracts.
