University helping firms gain a competitive advantage

Huddersfield has been at the forefront of various innovations and this heritage continues today thanks to the University of Huddersfield and the 3M Buckley Innovation Centre (3MBIC).

At an exclusive lunch networking lunch event, sponsored by Schofield Sweeney, TheBusinessDesk.com will be discussing how the town is once again at the fore of an industrial revolution.

On 31 March at The John Smith Stadium in Huddersfield, guests will be joined by Sue Cooke, chief executive of 3MBIC, to hear about how it alongside the university facilitates business growth, encourages collaboration and promotes innovation.

Cooke leads one of the UK’s first business innovation centres, 3MBIC, which supports businesses with innovation, technology adoption and engagement with the research capabilities of the university.

She will share an insight into how access to advanced technologies is giving businesses in the region a competitive advantage and how this is attracting international attention.

The lunch will run from noon till 3pm and people interested in attending should click here to book a place.
