25,000 sq ft industrial property refurbished and re-let

Developer Rosemount Estates has completed the refurbishment and re-letting of a 25,000 sq ft industrial property in Elland.

The unit has been let to Calderdale and Huddersfield Solutions, working with Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust to house their medical equipment store and Health Informatics Service.

Calderdale and Huddersfield Solutions is a company wholly owned by Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.

The NHS is already in occupation following the £750,000 refurbishment which was project managed by Mytholmroyd-based TD Jagger and completed within a tight timescale in order to ensure business continuity for the tenant.

The property will eventually house up to 100 staff.

Tom Donaghey, property manager at Calderdale and Huddersfield Solutions, said: “The quality of the refurbishment and partnership approach adopted by Rosemount Estates surpassed our expectations.

“The move to these premises will allow us to better serve the local community across the Halifax and Huddersfield areas for the foreseeable future.”

Walker Singleton advised Elland-based Rosemount Estates, for whom they have also just started marketing an 11,000 sq ft new-build opportunity at nearby Rosemount Estates which will be available in mid-2021.

Ryan Barker from Walker Singleton said: “Despite the current turmoil, this development will provide a welcome addition of good-quality, modern industrial space on a well-established industrial estate within minutes of the M62 and we expect there to be a lot of interest from occupiers.”
