Latest stage of city residential development is on the market

York-based property investment and development specialist, Helmsley Group, has launched the second phase of its Connaught Court development to the market.
The move comes following improved levels of activity in the residential property market since the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions.
Connaught Gardens, off St Oswald’s Road in Fulford, comprises eight four, five, and six-bedroom houses.
Helmsley Group originally purchased the Connaught site with an existing planning permission in place for residential development.
The group subsequently amended the existing permission to increase the developable floor area from 27,000 sq ft to 36,000 sq ft, creating space for a development of 14 homes.
Connaught Square, the first phase of the development, saw a number of the houses sold prior to completion.
Max Reeves, development director at Helmsley Group, said: “Following the success of phase one, we are delighted to unveil Connaught Gardens, phase two of our Connaught Court development.”
Hudson Moody is marketing the properties on behalf of Helmsley Group. Prices for a five-bedroom home at Connaught Square start at £865,000.
