Agency round-up: Boutique and Flaunt Digital

Scandinavian health and beauty supplements brand, New Nordic, is further cementing its market position by appointing Leeds-based channel marketing agency Boutique to spearhead its PR strategy in the UK.

It has chosen Boutique to raise awareness of both its brand and portfolio of existing products and new ranges across hair and skincare and wellbeing.

A big PR focus will be the launch of New Nordic’s new ‘Beauty In & Out’ range which aims to significantly grow market share across its core product areas.

New Nordic’s product ranges, such as its Apple Cider gummies and tablets, are sold globally in 50,000 pharmacies and health and beauty stores across 36 countries.

Boutique’s remit will be to further grow the brand in the UK, through a programme of creative and strategic-led campaigns which tap into a range of health and beauty topics.

It will also be building product engagement and advocacy through national health and lifestyle magazines and influencers.

Karen Gray, sales and marketing director for New Nordic in the UK, said: “We have been working with Boutique for a number of years in a paid digital and media buying and planning capacity, but felt our PR presence could be transformed by the agency’s integrated strategic thinking, enthusiasm and creativity.”

Boutique managing director, Simon Bollon, added: “This appointment further builds on our relationship with New Nordic but also plays to our channel agnostic approach to marketing.

“Working more holistically across paid and earned strategies will enable us to achieve even greater results for the brand.”

New Nordic is one of several new client wins for Boutique across its three core disciplines of media buying and planning, digital marketing and PR.

Other recent high-profile wins include Graham & Brown, The French Bedroom Company and Limitless Digital.

Flaunt Digital has celebrated its fifth birthday by signing an impressive new client.

The Leeds-based agency won Audio-Technica’s SEO and PPC contracts for all European markets following a competitive pitch process.

Despite competition from some of the most well-known SEO and paid media agencies, Flaunt Digital’s proposition struck a chord with the Audio-Technica team.

Kelvin Travers, digital development manager, Audio-Technica EMEA, said: “Having recently launched a new e-commerce website it’s imperative for us to drive growth online.

“The Flaunt Digital team has the passion, skills and enthusiasm needed to help us achieve this growth and I believe they will strengthen the digital experience for the brand.”

Since forming five years ago, Flaunt Digital has grown from three people in 2015 to a team of 20, with fee revenue growing last year by 86%.

Travers added: “We’ve built an amazingly talented team and are lucky enough to work with some of the biggest brands in the world – from The New York Times to Saint Gobain.

“Our team is paramount for us, they’re the people that deliver all of the incredible work and push Flaunt forwards.

“I’m excited for what the future has in store for Flaunt Digital, turning five is such a huge and humbling milestone and it feels like we are only just getting started.”
