Fit-for-purpose new home for telecommunications group

Sheffield-based Templand Group has relocated to 12,000 sq ft premises having outgrown its previous locations.

The telecommunications and networks specialist has brought its offices, training suite, lab, warehouse and distribution space together under one roof at Access House on Sheffield’s Clun Street.

Templand Group CEO, Jason Denmark, said the move will enable group businesses and divisions Newline Communications, ITI Network Services and ITI Electrical Services to achieve greater operational efficiencies and satisfy customer demand for on-site assembly, warehousing and distribution services.

He added: “We have had significant under-capacity, with the group’s businesses operating from several separate buildings and satellite offices across England.

“Moving to Access House allows more collaboration opportunities across the businesses and makes our ‘end-to-end’ offer to customers even more powerful.

“Major existing and new customers have already toured the new warehouse and given their seal of approval and we are confident the new location is a fit-for-purpose home as we continue our expansion and development plans.”

Group businesses and divisions, Newline Communications Ltd, ITI Network Services and ITI Electrical Services have continued working throughout 2020, with operating processes adapted to ensure the safety of customers, staff and contractors.

Denmark said: “With lockdown measures meaning millions of people have been working from home, fast and reliable networks have been more important than ever.

“Continued and growing demand for the Group’s network-critical infrastructure expertise and turnkey telecommunication services means we were determined to move to the right location to host all our expertise under one roof.”
