Vehicle auction centre gears up to host its opening sale
G3 Vehicle Auctions has developed its new dedicated WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles), light commercial vehicle and motorbike auction centre in Leeds.
The centre is at Junction 30 of the M62 and will hold an opening sale on 12 February.
Over 150 WAVs will be offered from the Motability Scheme fleet by Motability Operations, alongside a large selection of light commercial vehicles. (LCVs).
To support the ambitious target of becoming the go-to WAV centre of the north, G3 has also recruited WAV expert Anthony Aspinall, an industry expert recruited from a national competitor to bring his knowledge and auctioneering skills to the centre.
Backing the launch of the centre will be a roster of new and established LCV vendors including Euro Car Parts, United Rental and Sanctuary Group with more to be announced very soon.
The centre will also become home to a dedicated Motorbike sale, with up to 40 bikes to be offered from finance vendors such as Billing Finance, First Response and more on 18 February.
G3 has been confirmed as a remarketing partner for NEPO, with the North East Procurement Organisation acting on behalf of the local authorities in the North East.
The remarketing of its fleet vehicles, LCV and plant will also be offered through the new G3 Leeds auction centre.
The facility has the capacity for over 20,000 vehicles a year through the four-acre site, which will host both physical and online auctions and includes a 200-vehicle undercover hall and the latest 360° imaging studio on-site.
Its launch comes hot-on-the-heels of a £12m vehicle marketplace which successfully opened as G3 Castleford in January.
