Yorkshire manufacturer cements its position in the European market
North Yorkshire-based noise measurement instrument supplier, Cirrus Research, has taken a big step forward in its programme of international expansion, with the opening of an independent legal entity in Germany.
The launch of this European branch, called Cirrus Research GmbH, follows months of preparation and hard work by teams both in the UK and Germany.
It seeks to strengthen the organisation’s already well-established position within the Continental market and lays the groundwork for an aggressive expansion programme in the wider European geography.
Group chief executive, Daren Wallis, said: “The opening of an independent legal entity in Germany puts us in a great position to be able to expand our programme of international operation.
“It also allows us to continue our sustained growth trend and demonstrates our commitment to the German market and the value we believe it has for us.
“For the last 15-20 years, our dedicated sales team in Germany have continued to perform well above our expectations, securing substantial sales opportunities with several high-profile clients.

Cirrus Research GmbH, will sit alongside Cirrus Research plc in the UK, Cirrus Research France SAS, and Cirrus Research SL in Spain.
Along with a global network of distribution partners, the acoustic measurement firm has secured a portfolio of sales channels to strengthen its position as one of the world’s leading names in noise measurement.
In 2020, the business celebrated its 50th anniversary with successes in sales and new product launches.
