Digital consultancy creates another 35 jobs

Leeds-based Answer Digital is accelerating its expansion in response to other companies and the public sector advancing their own digital transformation strategies.

The IT and digital consultancy is recruiting 35 new roles to support its growth.

The company is also continuing to invest in its Academy, which over the last six years has fast-tracked young people in digital skills in software development, integration, test automation and project management.

It will see a further 20 enter the academy programme in the next nine months.

Over half of the staff at Answer Digital are alumni of its Academy, which was created to nurture the next generation of talent for the company.

Answer Digital says it has seen growth in several sectors. It was appointed to the new £800m digital capability for health framework, which supports public health organisations to provide digital outcomes and services.

Answer Digital’s health team works across the NHS to support the frontline in delivering digital solutions and enable transformational care.

It also helps local Trusts build new ways to plan and commission direct care and works with NHS Digital on the Integrating Care programme to develop national record and event sharing.

Gary Parlett, founder and managing director of the firm, said: “Following our move to employee-ownership last year, we have seen the business grow at light-speed.
