An extensive refurbishment of a Leeds city centre office building has been completed.

The 10 South Parade offices, in the heart of the city’s professional quarter, now boast Grade A accommodation – with the whole of the 9,300 sq ft first floor available to lease.

Jason Stowe, managing director of Leeds-based Wilton Developments, said: “On behalf of the owners East Parade Ltd, we are pleased to have completed the first comprehensive update to the building since it won the British Council for Offices Award for best refurbished work place back in 2011.

“The design-led works have refreshed the common areas into a contemporary look, whilst maintaining a sympathetic relationship to the experience of high-quality materials and finish, which were key to the original award-winning refit 10 years ago.

“The design looks stylish and fresh and has already successfully encouraged a new tenant to move into the building.

“Now we hope to build on that success by letting the impressive 9,300 sq ft first floor with the help of Leeds property consultancies Knight Frank and WSB”.

Elizabeth Ridler, partner with Knight Frank, explained: “This is a fabulous space, delivering exactly what the Leeds office market now wants.

“The building also features cycle storage and high-quality shower and changing facilities, with refurbished toilets, reception area and lift lobbies.”

Duncan Senior, partner at WSB, added: “10 South Parade has been fully let for the past 10 years which is testament to the quality of the original scheme.

“The new refurbishment further enhances the quality of accommodation being offered, and with 2,500 sq ft having recently been let to architects Darton B3, the first floor represents a rare opportunity to lease space in this spectacular building.”
