Garbutt + Elliott launch the Food + Drink Business Awards 2021

York and Leeds accountancy, advisory and audit firm Garbutt + Elliott has launched its Yorkshire Food + Drink Awards which showcase and reward the region’s thriving businesses in the food and drink industry.

The awards aim to celebrate Yorkshire-based food and drink businesses that have continued to excel and shown resilience, adapting to the difficult economic conditions created by the pandemic.

They are open to all businesses from start-ups to established companies, small and large, across all sectors of Yorkshire food and drink.

To take part, businesses must provide a 300 word (max) entry demonstrating their key achievements and reasons why they should win their chosen category, along with any additional supporting documents before the deadline.

Tony Farmer, head of corporate finance at Garbutt + Elliott, said: “I am delighted to announce the launch of our 2021 Food & Drinks awards which is now in its fourth year.

“The awards have proved to be a great success and this year’s awards will be our best yet.

“This year feels more special because of the challenges we have all faced. Our awards celebrate the creativity and grit of the people and businesses of Yorkshire that are striving to help our economy to recover and prosper again.

“We’re here to showcase the county’s successful businesses and show other UK businesses that positive outcomes can be realised even in the most challenging economic conditions.”
