Diners invited to sample hotel and restaurant’s new alfresco terrace

Harrogate’s West Park Hotel has revealed ‘The Courtyard’, its new all weather terrace which has been transformed to include a retractable roof and outdoor bar.

It opens on 26 June and features heated seating along with a bar stocked with both local and international ales, spirits and wines.

Tom Patrick, head of marketing at the Provenance Inns, said: “The privilege of welcoming back our loyal customers alone is quite something after a turbulent year, but to be able to knock them for six with our eye-popping makeover makes it even better.

“The design is beautiful and the heated seating, heat lamps and retractable roof ensure we can welcome guests come rain or shine.”

“The makeover is the result of public demand, with more of our customers seeking out alfresco venues to soak up as much of the sun as they can.

“It’s the perfect setting in which to unwind and indulge in what I believe to be our most ambitious and mouth-watering food menus to date, especially for those that love their hearty British comfort food, prime steak and seafood.

“We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to The West Park Hotel.’’

The hotel is owned by the Provenance Inns Group, which own a collection of gastro pubs and hotels located around the North of England.

Diners can expect new dishes such as Rump of Yorkshire Warrendale Wagyu Beef and Peppered Tuna Sashimi.

Those wanting a lighter lunch may look towards Indian Spiced Pulled Chicken Wrap or Warm Goats Cheese & Roast Mediterranean Vegetables as they work their way through the wine and cocktail list.

Signature cocktails at West Park include the Rhubarb and Wild Berry sour made with Slingsbury Rhubarb Gin and Crème de mure and The WestPark retreat made with Mount Gay Rum topped with caramel syrup.
