Doors and windows maker invests in a new arm to its operation

A Leeds company has set its sights on the high-spec domestic glazing market as it moves forward with plans for expansion.

Reveal Ltd, a manufacturer and installer of doors and windows, has launched a new arm to its business after being appointed as an approved UK partner for top German manufacturer Solarlux.

The company has made a substantial investment in its partnership with Solarlux, which it sees as key to its strategic development within the market for solutions demanded by premium residential projects.

Trading as Solarlux by Reveal, the company is the only approved Solarlux partner in Yorkshire to offer the flagship Wintergarden, a thermally-insulated custom-made glass extension.

It will also offer other key products including the cero sliding door with its glass panes that can reach heights of six metres.

Reveal’s director David Weaver said: “We’re really excited about our new venture with Solarlux, which will enable us to offer an expanded range of products to the upper end of the domestic glazing market.

“We envisage this as a key area in our plans for growth that we estimate will help us generate an extra 37% of business in the forthcoming years.”

Reveal, which has an office and a separate 6,000ft sq aluminium manufacturing facility in Pudsey, currently employs 10 staff and is planning to take on more recruits including another apprentice over the next few months as part of its expansion plans.

Having recorded a 50% year-on-year compound growth over seven years pre-pandemic, the company is now seeing demand for premium domestic glazing solutions increase as the UK emerges from lockdown.
