Land intended for £21.5m housing development changes hands
Yorkshire Avant Homes has purchased 14.47-acres of land to deliver a £21.5m development of 80 homes in Green Hammerton, North Yorkshire.
Located just off the A59 directly between York and Harrogate, Avant Homes secured planning approval from Harrogate Borough Council in March 2021.
The development, named Ambretone Park, will include a mixture of three and four-bedroom homes.
Of the 80 new-build homes, approximately% will be designated to affordable housing across a selection of one, two and three-bedroom properties.
Groundworks at Green Hammerton are due to start in July with the showhomes set to open at the end of 2021. The first residents are expected to move into their new homes in spring 2022.
