Packaging pioneer acquired by global leader

Ultimate Packaging, a pioneer in flexographic and digitally printed flexible packaging  has been acquired by the global leader ProAmpac for an undisclosed amount.

The Grimsby-based family-owned business is one of the largest independent flexible packaging manufacturers in the UK specialising in the development of innovative packaging solutions to increase product shelf life, convenience and recyclability.

As a result of the deal, ProAmpac’s fourth in 2021, the firm has strengthened its position in the sector, extended its presence across the UK and broadened its portfolio of sustainable packaging solutions.
