Event business moves into new purpose-built HQ

Universal Live has invested substantially in a new headquarters in West Yorkshire, officially moving into its new purpose-built site.

The move has been described as a “major game-changer” for the technical events company which had been in its previous space for over 25 years. Over that time the firm has grown in people, skills and technical equipment outgrowing its office and warehouse spaces in Bradford, resulting in the decision to move to somewhere that would enable further growth and offer a better service level to their clients.

Construction work on the new state of the art purpose-built office and warehouse began before the first national lockdown, but was halted as a result of the pandemic before recommencing later in the year.

The new site in Keighley comprises of 18,923 square feet of office, meeting and warehouse space, within that you will find two gallery studios where they run virtual events for their clients, which complements and works alongside their Manchester broadcast studio perfectly.

The additional studio space at Universal Live’s new headquarters comes as the business expects to see continued growth in both the live and virtual hybrid events.

Kirsty Waine, the managing director of Universal Live described the move as a long-time coming stating: “We are so glad to have officially moved into our new head office. There has been significant planning and research into the best premises to move into, to allow for us to continue to grow and offer the best service to our clients.

“Our new site allows us to do just that and much more, we have a great virtual solution within the same building, which clients can use for their virtual and hybrid events, truck loading efficiency will be increased tenfold with all kit under one roof and door to truck load in and out.
We are so excited for what the future holds and this is definitely the best step forward for the company, our team and our clients.”

The upgraded office and warehouse environments will bring effectiveness to the whole operations team in addition to enabling the Universal Live team to deliver the best events that they can, on time with the very best in new technology and the team that goes with it!
